TrustLayer and COIOps
TrustLayer is the free offer a 5–50 vendor shop will actually see. Their plans page, checked 24 Sep 2026, lists Starter as free up to 50 vendors. Pro and Complete show no dollar price, and the page ends in a phone number and sales@trustlayer.io. trustlayer.io/plans.
| Question | COIOps | TrustLayer Starter |
|---|---|---|
| Published price | $0 up to 8 on Free. Starter $79/mo up to 25. Growth $149/mo up to 50. Square charges in the app only when credentials are set. | $0 up to 50 vendors. Paid tiers are not priced on the page we checked. |
| What the free plan is for | A vault and one organization template. No hard gate, no job templates, no chase email. | Their page lists expiration management, messaging, basic reporting, and AI document collection. |
| Hard mobilize or dispatch gate | In the sample, and priced on Starter. It does not lock another system. | Their public plans page does not describe a mobilize, schedule, or pay gate. We are not claiming they lack every workflow we did not see. |
| Chase email from the product | Sends on Starter when Resend or SMTP is configured. Free does not include chase. If mail is not configured, the chase is stored and not marked sent. | They list messaging. We do not know their delivery rate. |
| Procore | Not built. Coming soon on Growth, as a status sync, not a replacement. | Procore, CMiC, and Vista Viewpoint are listed on Pro, which has no public price. |
| Vendor annual fee | Company-paid. Vendors are not billed by us. | Not stated on the plans page we checked. |
| Live carrier verification | No. Document score only. | Not claimed on the Starter feature list we checked. |
If you want a free folder for 50 certificates, their published plan holds more vendors than our Free cap. We charge Starter because the gate is the product we are selling. Pricing.
A certificate of insurance is not the insurance policy. COIOps provides document scores against your requirement templates — not live carrier verification.
